Reduced Label Waste

The SR-R680 optimizes label printing by minimizing excess margins at the beginning and end of each label, allowing more labels to be produced from a single tape roll. Compared to previous models, the excess margin is reduced by approximately 6mm per label, enabling up to 50 more labels to be printed from an 8-meter roll.

Automatic Tape Type Detection
When a "Tepra" PRO tape cartridge is inserted, the device automatically detects the type of tape being used. This allows the printer to optimize settings such as print speed, print density, and whether to enable or disable auto-cutting.

In addition, the printer automatically selects suitable label formats and special print menus based on the inserted tape, saving users time on manual adjustments and setup.

Corner Rounding with “Auto Trimmer” Function
The “Auto Trimmer” feature allows the label corners to be rounded, making them less likely to peel off and giving a cleaner, more professional finish.

※ This function is not compatible with the following tape types: iron-on, premium paper, heat-resistant, masking tape "mt", pre-cut labels, magnetic, transfer, heat shrink tube, ribbon, and tapes with 4mm or 6mm width.

Auto Cutter with “Half-Cut” Function
The machine features an auto cutter with a “Half-cut” function, which cuts only the printed surface of the label—making it easier to peel off the backing paper during use.

Additionally, in continuous printing mode with “Half-cut”, users can choose between:

Cutting each label individually after printing.
